D.O.A. fishing lures are developed by hard-core fishermen, and offer you an unfair advantage. All of our lures are made of soft plastic and impregnated with farm grown shrimp to resemble real shrimp, crabs, and a variety of bait fish.

Recommended Loop Knot

This loop knot was introduced to us by the canoe man Merrill Chandler and we found it to be the best one we have used because of it's ease to tie and the tag end of the leader faces rearward there by not catching grass.

Step 1

Run the tag end of the line through the eye of the hook. In the standing line make two backward loops as shown in the drawing. The standing line goes behind the tag end line.

The second loop goes through the front of the first loop.

The tag end then goes through the front of the second loop and bring the tag end of the line down to the side of the lure.

While holding the tag end of the leader and the lure stationary pull on the end of the line going to the rod.
