All contestants were required to use D.O.A. Lures provided to them by the tournament committee. It is important to note that this was a CATCH, PHOTO AND RELEASE Tournament and all fish caught were returned to the water unharmed (but much smarter).

All proceeds collected for this tournament were returned to the anglers ................ A fun day on the water.

Here are the results of the tournament.......

1st Place Adult Division - Kurt Deboben of Fort Pierce with a 25" Seatrout and a 29" Snook caught on #382, clear holographic shrimp. Total length 54". Kurt took home an Ocean Kayak Prowler 13 Angler model worth $739

2nd Place Adult Division - Conrad Binetti of Stuart with a 27" Redfish and a 24" Seatrout. Total of 51". Conrad took home another Ocean Kayak Prowler 13 Angler model worth $739.

3rd Place Adult Division - Roy Jandreau of Jupiter with a 23 1/2" Redfish and a 22". Total of 45 1/2". Seatrout. Another Ocean Kayak Prowler 13 Angler model worth $739 was awarded to him.

First Place in the Junior Division (12 to 17 years of age) was taken by Michael McBride of Stuart with 49 1/2" Total length consisting of a 25" Redfish and a 24 1/2" Seatrout. Michael is now the proud owner of an Ocean Kayak Caper Angler model boat.

There were no fish entered in the Child's Division (11 years of age and under), so a raffle among the Child's Division was won by Sarah Averety of Tequesta..........One Happy Little Gal.

Largest Snook - 33" went to David Cross
Largest Redfish - 27" went to Conrad Binetti of Stuart
Largest Seatrout - 29 1/2" went to Tony Lai, a member of the Ocean Kayak Team from St. Petersburg.
All of the big fish winners were awarded a Shimano Wading Belt and a Deluxe D.O.A. Lure Kit.


In the door prize drawing the following lucky entrants won:

Ocean Kayak Trident 15 Package with Humminbird GPS/Fish Finder Package worth $2439 was won by Chris Hatton of Sebastian.

Ocean Kayak Prowler 13 Angler Package was won by Nax Howard of Palm Beach. A $739 value.
