The three baits
C.A.L. 5" Swim Bait
A wide-profile body with a broad vertical paddle tail that gives real flash and vibration. The 5" Swim Bait is the most versatile bait to rig in the line: weedless on a weighted screw-lock hook in 5/0 to 7/0, on a Premium long shank jig head, or Texas rigged. Buzz it on the surface or jig it on the bottom — it works both ways.
C.A.L. Curl Tail
The Curl Tail gives tremendous tail action on the slowest retrieve there is. Rigged weedless or on a jig head, it is an excellent all-around bait in fresh or salt, and because of the smaller profile and the movement at low speed it is one of the best sight-fishing baits made — for tailing redfish, for flounder dragged on the bottom, and for cold-water trout.
C.A.L. 3" Paddle Tail Grubs
The Paddle Tail Grubs are the compact option — a short body with the same slow-speed action, sized for panfish, crappie, small snapper and any situation where downsizing is the answer.
Rigging
All three marry to D.O.A. jig heads, Chug Heads and Hot Heads. Short shank for the Curl Tail and Grubs, long shank for the 5" Swim Bait.
