If you buy one bait
Buy the 3" Shrimp. It is the lure the company was founded on, it is pre-rigged so it needs nothing added, and it catches every inshore species that swims. Cast it up-current and let it fall — that is the whole technique.

- C.A.L. Shad Tails & Jerk Baits — bodies-only soft plastics in more than fifty colors. Pair with jig heads.

Do not forget the hardware
C.A.L. baits ship as bodies only. If you are buying Shad Tails, Jerk Baits, Curl Tails, Swim Baits or Grubs, you need jig heads to fish them — short shank for 3" to 4" bodies, long shank for 4" to 5.5".
